in my jimmy 1994 gmc 4wd i want to lift
planning on doing a 2in shackle lift
1.5 t bar crank
and a 3 in body lift

so my question is my leaf spring runs under my axel
couldn't i just run the leaf springs over the top of the axle?

Yes, you can flip the axle under the leaf springs but you'd have to make new mounts. I'd suggest doing shackles, I picked up a pair from auto zone for like $30 and they've worked well for me. It's really a personal preference, I have seen a few people on here that have flipped the axle and like it, but most go with shackles.

if u flip the axle under the spring u get more then 2" lift its closer to 6" which would make ur truck have some major rake. shackles is the way to go and super cheap i made mine for about 6$ lol
