Default SAS Question

Ok so I'm planning on doing a sas on my 2000 Olds Bravada. I have found plenty of info for it and I have started buying the parts but the one thing I can't find info on is what happens with my ABS if the axles I use don't have ABS sensors already on them? Is there any way to add ABS on to an older axle or "program" it out of my trucks computer system? Or is there a way to trick the computer into thinking the ABS sensor is there when it really isn't? I just don't want the ABS light on all the time. I have searched everywhere I can think of so any help would be great!

i did a SAS on my 96 astro, i removed the pump altogether because my lines were rotten anyway, and pulled the bulb. because of the reluctors and wheel sensors i doubt you could add it to a non abs axle without great trouble.

yeah i ditched abs on my 90, i just unplugged the computer and the light went off. if you really want abs you might have to get a axle out of something newer that has abs sensors on them. but i dont know if its that simple. dont know if you can just swap in other makes or models abs sensors, who knows.... actually on my 93 s10 that i did a sfa to, i just cut all the wires and i have no abs light on

If you running a jeep dana 30 the guys on s10forum have a spacer designed to bolt the s10 bearing hub to it and you can keep the bolt pattern and abs.
