If you are only looking to do a 2" lift and dont want to spend a lot of money you can either install a 2" body lift or crank your torsion bars 1.5" and get 2" shackles for the rear. As for buying a lift kit off ebay, well you have to be very careful and make sure the kit is for your truck and not a Full Size Blazer. Most sellers post the model number to the kit, so you can just do a search on google to see if it's for your truck.

For Lift Kits alone in the $2000.00 range you can get a 5" BDS Kit or a 6" superlift Kit. I've heard mixed reviews on rough country kits for our trucks but again most people are biased towards certain kits.

Skyjacker and Fabtech don't make lifts for a 4wd S10. Pretty much all any of the 2" suspension lifts do is allow you to crank the Tbars more than what you can from the factory and add either an AAL or shackles to the rear. If you lift the front more than about 1 1/2" with the Tbars, you're much more prone to premature front end component wear sometimes to the point of breaking. Sometimes the 2" suspension lifts include new A arms but they generally aren't enough to keep the front end from destroying itself. You can safely lift the front suspension yourself by cranking the Tbars (and getting an alignment) for less than $50. You can swap rear shackles yourself for about the same price. Why spend a few hundred when you can do the same thing for less than $100 and save some wear and tear on your truck?

BTW, Rough Country doesn't make a 6" suspension lift for the S10 Blazer. All they make is the 2" suspension lift. I still can't see why you'd pay over $400 when you can do the same thing safer for $100 but I guess it's your truck.

Man i say you do what i did.
Go to a local offroad shop, tell them you want a BDS 6" Lift. if you have 2k to spend, bump it up to 2500, thats how much mine was.
and my truck i have no issues with.

There is NO 4" suspension lift for a 2nd gen S10 based anything. And I hope you aren't planning on trying to crank the Tbars enough to get a 4" lift. I'm not even sure it's possible but if it is, you'll be replacing front end parts on a regular basis.

it is possible to get 3" of lift from the TBars, i know 4 would be pushing it.

My bars as of now are not cranked, but when i do its about another 3" of lift

How are the mud grapplers on quietness? I want either a set of them or the trail grapplers.

Let us know how your front suspension parts are wearing once you crank the Tbars 3".
