LMAO... 3 inches? Wow... lets start having a pool to see how long before those CV joints snap... will they even move without binding at that height?

1.5 inches is the rule of thumb, some people go up to 2 inches... some people crank them 1 inch and snap a CV axle just by looking at it funny (usually mimicking ABN's grille).

the biggest question i have about doing a lift is the stability of the truck after. i've had a few rather rapid maneuvers, and sometimes (ok, most of the time) i drive my Blazer like it NOT a typical SUV, ie, kinda agressive.

but i guess the fix for a little more stability is to get some rims with less off-set & wider rubber.

This applies to any mud tire really. They roar going down the road, but they look bad ***. That's when turning the music up comes into play. A system helps too lol

If you're an aggressive driver, then I don't suggest you lifting your truck because you are just going to tip it over. My suspension is stiff but I know my limits to my truck and there has been a few times this year where it came close to going over...lol...

I recommend the BFG Mud terrains. I was surprised at how quiet they are. While still being amazing on the trails
