Default tell me what you think

ok i want to find out what you guys think of these lifting options

ok i am running two tire combos - stock gm wheels with 30x9.5r15 fit with no tb crank
- 15x8 eagle alloys with 235/75r15 (way too small but will run them till a find a lift)

so now i want to fit bigger tires (32 inch m/t) and i am looking at lifting options but i want some kind of suspension lift for more ground clearance so here is some options

3inch suspension lift with 1 inch body lift and maby a little triming

5inch suspension lift

or should i just go with 30s and no lift or 31 and 3inch lift

so whats your opinion

im assuming u mean 235/75/15. since the others come out to be around 34/12.5/15.
go with a 2in body lift and 31's

If money is not an issue then go with the 5" lift. I have a 2" rough country lift that I am not too happy with because of the cv shaft angle. I will probaly be going with a 5" lift myself soon.

do our trucks really need that much lift to fot 32? i've had my friends boggers on my truck and they where 32s. i had a good bit of rubbing on frame due to stock rims and the large lugs. but other than i had hardly any problem running 32s. i went back to my 31s b/c i didn't like the way the boggers looked.

If youre dealing with worn in tires, the lift requirements do not apply. Each tire varies with wear. The only thing thats consistant is the new size.

I would be if you put on brand new 31x1050s, you would have rubbing issues. It might still be driveable, but you will rub.

ok so i guess its worth going to a 5inch lift now i have questions on which company to go with ive hear that superlifts or bds are the best ones so my questions are do these kits need and welding or fabrication of stock frame or suspension my last question on these lifts are how do these kits preform on the street (since if i buy this lift this truck will continue being my dd) so how bad would this thing tip around an exit ramp

also now a quick tire question running 32x11.5r15 on a 15x8 wheel would that size of tire be hard to install onto that size of rim

The 5" BDS kit doesn't require as much cutting and welding like the 6" Superlift kit requires. Both are great solid kits and you can't go wrong choosing either one. My winter wheel is 15 x 8 with 32x11.5 tires, so it's mount fine.

i got a few more questions on this bds suspension lift and i was reading that you have to modify your y pipe so my question is is there any other modifications like cutting mounts off i just want to know because i need to find out how much i will need to save to get this kit installed and if any one has a rough estimate on how much you paid to install it would be greatly appreciated
