blocks will lower your blazer, if you want lift in the rear you can go with shackles or an add a leaf

Looking at pics of other vehicles, I see what you are saying. I just got my blazer from used car lot 3 weeks ago. It seems that the previous owner had done a spring over axle conversion which is why I suggested it for lift.
I guess this also anwsers my question about why people were suggesting the need for such large lift for those tires

I'll post pics later and keep you informed on the progress. Thanks for the help
