Default 1998 Jimmy High Beams

Hello, I am new to this thread and I was wondering if anyone could provide me with some assistance. I just returned from a late night drive in my vehicle that was recently purchased only to discover that my high beams are not working. I am wondering two things, do the high beams use a separate bulb than that of the low beams and also if they do use separate bulbs could they both have burned out? I am hoping that this is not an electrical problem and is merely an issue of replacing the bulbs.

Like I said, I just recently purchased this vehicle and do not know too terribly much about it. Any assistance that could be provided would be much appreciated. Thank you so much.

There are separate bulbs for the high beams. There also is a separate fuse & relay for the high beams. You can confirm the bulbs are the issue by testing for power & ground at each high beam bulb with a test light.
