Default 91 S10 blazer won't start

I left my house my car started fine then i went to the gas station and my car wouldn't start. When i turn the key over nothing happenes my radio just turns off so i though my battery was not connected good so i tried that and still nothing. I had my friend come jump it and it started right away. I got home and put a new screw in the positive side instead of this crappy one that wasn't for it. It started up fine by its self after that then i turned it off to check and it would start again. so i tried to move the battery cables nothing still. I tried to jump it still nothing the started would even click. so i took the starter out thinking it was it hooked it to a batter seemed to work fine. so Im wonder if the ignition wasn't grounded or something?

Almost sounds like a bad battery. Run it down to advance auto or autozone etc. they test for free. see what the tests come back with.

I put another battery in and did the exact same things so i think its the wiring going to the starter. i took the old starter out it worked fine but I'm going to buy a new solenoid for it cuz it was kind of busted.

Have you monitored the voltage at the starter both on the large cable from the battery & on the solenoid trigger wire (smaller diameter wire on the solenoid) while attempting to start the truck? That should tell you if you have a cable problem once compared with battery voltage while trying to start. There should be little difference from one end of the cable to the other.
