mine is from a brand called Putco and required some modification to the metal tabs in the housing to hold the bulb, easy.

im not sure, it was part of a kit. and i happen to have another one as well as lots of the ones for the back light (they get used in all sorts of vehicles) i have some funny shaped ones too.

these are all supposed to be 'defective parts' BTW. customers install them at home and put one LED in backwards and it doesnt light up, so they assume the whole kit is bad. we give them a new kit and tell them to put the bulbs in the right way and the old kit goes into warranty, when putco issues an RGA we have to dispose of the products. so i take them home and put them in my friends cars and trucks. lol

we had a whole TON of third brake lights, light up emblems and step sills too that all got fired into the garbage, brand new... all working. because of this. a procomp 35" tire that we had to cut a chunk out of the side wall because it wasnt able to be ballanced? ive never heard of that happening before.
LOADs of box covers and stuff too, bull bars, step bars and all kinds of light bars. because of like one chip in the chrome or a tiny little dent.

so once and a while blazer parts are going to come about, same with parts for people i know.
i <3 my job

ah very nice, i get the same with some of the stuff we sell. either just told not to bother shipping it back because the part isnt worth that much, or larger things have to show a picture of it destroyed.
