Default motor

no noise it just sits there. That's why I'm hoping that it's just not getting power. Also I'm new to electric work, so how exactly do I test the power with a test light?

ground the clip to the body of the truck .

put the point into the plug that's on the motor also make sure the test light is Grounded correctly . I suggest grounding it to the battery if the wire is long enough

Thanks for the tip. Everything checks out fine. The fuse is good and pressing both up and down on the switch lights up the tester. So, power is getting to the motor, but nothing happens. Where should I go from here? thanks again for all your help.

ok... that's what i thought...however, i've been told that they are spring loaded and everyone that Ive talked to has had their hand lacerated when trying to remove them....what is the best way (aside from leaving it be) to avoid this?

Geez - what were they doing? I've done 2 without any problems at all. Unlike the guys in the link below, I use a c-clamp through the arm to the regulator body. It works great.
