Default 95 Blazer Wiper stops low speed - any fix?

Hello,

My 95 Blazer windshield motor lost its low speed. Is there a simple fix? (I can't afford a new wiper motor system)

Looking forward to a simple fix!!

Thanks,

Dennis

Not sure if it'll help you, but maybe take the wiper control board apart, and check the contacts. Mine was acting up, not turning off, etc, and I found a couple of contacts were bent, and not making good contact. Just bent them back with my hand.

Also, do a search for, I think, "wiper motor cold solder" something along those lines. Seems to be a fairly common problem on these trucks

Thanks friends for your good advise. I got the courage to take it apart - took the circuit board out and found blown condenser - and burned all over.

It was quite simple to do - and now it works perfectly. Cost of the circuit board through Amazon - less than $15.00. Dennis
