Default Blazer Instrument cluster

Hi Im having some problems with the cluster in my truck . First off I would like to say that the speedo and tac and batt and volts and engine temp gage all work fine . My oil gage will at times when I press the brake will stay or move a litttle arattic movment on my oil gage . My fuel gage will read but will move or do a full 360 turn at times . Im wondering if its the fuel sender going bad or do I have a bad cluster . I got a used cluster from the junkyard to replace it but am unsure if its the cluster going bad in the truck .

I own a 1997 blazer truck with floor shifter .I was wonder also if there is a cluster control board for the 1997 blazer under the dash . .also Could I have a bad ground . I see on the wiring digram it shows Ground G117 . Would anyone know there this ground is at .

Please Help me repair this truck so I can know the proper lever of fuel in the tank . P.s My oil gage will show a little over the 40 mark , meaning its got over 50 psi pressure for the oil . Also My temp gage will read right too . My volts are good also .Just that the oil gage will not be strat on the 40 mark it will move alittle aratic movement .

well if you already have the cluster swap them out. its not to hard.

it does sound like it may be related to your sender. i know that the oil pressure gauge should move a little with acceleration of the truck..as you throttle up the pump builds pressure...so that sounds normal. and if all the other inst. read fine then i would say that is another sign. when my cluster went bad the whole thing went wacky at random, till one day it just died.

Warmed up the oil pressure should be above 40 while driving & about 20 when at idle.
Check grounds for sure & this may help as well
