not bad. i'd look around and try to find some reviews on other batteries and such. a lot of people swear by Optima batteries but i'm not a fan.

i'll eventually be installing an XS D1200 as my main battery and if i still need some more umph in the trunk i'll put another back there. that along with the ad244 and i think i'll be set. if not, i'll be selling stuff.

yeah i have a yellow top up front and havent had any problems in the 3 years ive had it. Would have put one in the back but it wouldnt fit. But it looks like i will just have to do some cutting to make one fit.

its $100 and has an 8 year warranty. i am currently waiting to hear back from work about when i'm going to start but i don't know how long thats going to be.
That sounds more like an alternator issue... what's your voltage with the truck running? do you have issues starting it? the battery has the job of starting the truck and "filtering ac ripple"....

my alternator is fine. i had the store check it while i was borrowing my mom's envoy. my battery was leaking from the negative terminal and wasn't storing anymore they told me. i switched batteries and have had no problem. my voltage only drops on heavy bass in the 50hz range. by drop i mean go from 14.2 to 13.6-7 volts. i'll be upgrading everything around the holidays when i have much more free time and spendable money. gotta love christmas and still being in college

well late to the party but I've had the gold duralast for around 2.5 years and it's been great. Pulled into a gas station to get some ciggs (back when I smoked) came outside and truck wouldn't start. Battery just failed out of no where. Replaced with the gold and never had a hiccup since.
