Question Battery with a Full charge, 2001 GMC Jimmy SLS won't Respond

I ordered a pizza to pick up, went out to my trusty Jimmy, put the key in the ignition, turned said key, and.......nothing.

Put a booster on the battery, nothing. Got out my multimeter and checked the voltage. Topped out.

Back to driver's seat and turn key, and nothing. The hood light isn't coming on, which I often use as an indicator lamp of whether there's an energy flow happening or not. So there's no juice being sent from the battery? At all. What?

Faulty starter? Can I bang on it with a hammer? What could be causing this Jimmy to suddenly play possum?

Loose or dirty battery terminals? There's a large fuse under the battery tray, but I've never heard of one blowing.

I went outside to get something out of the vehicle, trie again for no real reason, and the thing starts up and now has life again. No reason given. I'll check codes and my OBD app to see if any clues are given, but this is a strange, and unwanted, behavior.
