hi guys if i run the sterio in my blazer for around 20 minutes with the key turned to acc the battery goes flat and wont start the truck has any body else had this problem i put a new battery in it i am not running any subs have upsized the altanator cable new altnator and still have the same problem any help would be great thanks tom

was it fully charged before you installed it?

yes it was fully charged it has been doing it for the last 12 months i was thinking of running dual battries to see if i could get more time before it drained but i need ideas on how to fit dual battries as there is not much room for two under the hood

I would find out what is wrong before going with dual batteries. I had my radio on for 2-3 hours today and it started just fine. Something is not right.

Edit: You could try hooking up to another battery with jumper cables just out of curiosity. My guess is that you would still only get about 45 min. to an hour out of it, which isn't right.
