Default Brake controller wiring...

I have a brake controller, but its wired to my brake/right signal light wire.... The 2 wires under the dash for the controller where cut out when my autostarter where put in, so now I cant find them. Does anyone know what wire, and where it is, that I can splice into so my brakes dont pulse when I use my right signal? Also I need to know if its a grounded (-) wire, or a powered (+) wire.
