Default Brake Light on Dash ??

Anyone else having trouble with the brake light coming on the dash? It flashes sometimes, it stays on sometimes, sometimes doesn't.

01 Blazer.

start with the basics, make sure the brake fluid is full, the emergency brake is fully disengaged and there are no leaks

On my '98 Blazer, I'm having an issue with my brake pedal having a LOT of travel, and the brake light being on. Fluid level is good, etc.

Because of some experiences I've had with GM ABS, I pulled the ABS fuse in both fuse blocks. The Brake light in my dash went out, and the ABS light came on.

Try pulling the ABS fuse on the inside fuseblock, and see if the brake warning light goes out. If it does, there might be some issues with the ABS pump. I'm thinking there is with mine.

i have a 2000 had to replace the rear hard line on the pass. side. about a week later the abs light came on. i do not think the line has anything to do with it. unless the light will come on if there is still a little air in there. does any one know excatly where the speed sensor on the transfer case is located? how hard is it to replace and can i get to it while i have it on jack stands?
