Default Cab Lights

Hey guys, I was thinking about putting cab lights on the Blazer.

I wanna do bright LED's but I'm not sure what color, so I am asking you guys what you think would look best on it.

Also if anyone knows where to order the lenses and the bulbs let me know. Thanks guys!

P.S. I was thinking Purple, just to stand out

Well you could get clear ones and put the color of your choice in them. I like superbrightleds.com products myself.

I got my clear set from LMCtruck.com.

And as for Bulbs just search around on eBay. I forget the bulb number tho... something like 1115. What I did was take the ones out the come with the kit, then go to walmart and try and match them up with ones.

I got my Pink set from there and put them in my Mech. Gauges.

I'm sure I can dig up some more pics to help out. btw the picture of the lit up gauge SUCKS, phone take bad pics in low light. It was a lot brighter]

Here's a pic from when I tried to use Fingernail polish to color the clear bulbs... lolz. It sorta worked.

Looks good! I think I changed my mind, I think what I want to do is put lights behind the grille so they light up the grille!

Just not sure yet!

You know those little windshield squirter led thingamabobs that the Ricers have?

...yeah okay that was a bad explanation, lemme go find a pic

Use those for the grille lights. Just make sure they aren't Blue, and depending on your state's laws, red and yellow may be out of the question too.

Yep, I knew what you were talking about, a couple of my friends have them. Where do you get them, do you know?

I was thinking about going the waterproof strips, not the cheap walmart ones, but good ones, and I want blue, but if the law won't let me I'd probably do purple.

Well, I'm in SD and I think as long as they don't flash they don't take it too seriously, but I could be wrong...
