can you tell if AHL sensor is bad???

yea ive been so used to them just coming on auto lol...yea i should be fine im always reminding my girl to put hers on haha ...who knows whatd she do without me lol

since its pitch black out i went out and gave it a try. i left the lights off and when i first turned the vehicle none came on. as soon as i put it in gear the drls came on. then i put it in park again and they shut off..so i guess it does have to be in gear for the drls to come on. i know they shut off when the turn signals are put on due to DOT
