constant clicking under dash
My 2001 blazer clicks quickly and repeatedly constantly when at idle and slightly above. It does sound like a relay and appears to be behind the instrument cluster. What should I be looking for?
This occurs only when running and stops when the engine speed is above an idle.

I had this problem also. I replaced the turn signal relay, but that didn't work. I then replaced the multi switch (the one that controls the wipers/turn signals/ cruise control/ect) and that fixed the issue. While I was replacing it, I noticed the wire harness connection was damaged so that may have contributed to the problem. I also noted that the unit itself was rather worn and loose compared to the new one. It's worth checking out. YouTube has a great video on dismantling the steering column to replace it.

The clicking is no where near as slow as a turn signal or a hazard. It is much, much faster. Kinda like a couple of bb's being shaken in a small jar. Not very loud, but very rapid.
After flushing out the heater core yesterday, I went to start it up. Nothing but the heavy clicks of a weak battery or starter issue. So, I checked the battery terminals. One was loose. Tightened that & is started normally. Seems that the rapid clicking has decreased. Is there any way that it could be related to low battery voltage??
