Is your dash dimmer switch all the way down?

i have the same problem but i recently came across some good information, it may not be your actualy DIMMER switch on the dash theres a second Remote dimmer, it caused my "HUD" on my headliner to shut off after 5pm and go dark, it controls daytime running lights and such.
if you didn't cap the Illumination wire (my capped end slipped off) and it will ground on the dash bracking effectively burning out the Remote dimmer and possibly the bulbs and even dimmer, i used a DMM to check the voltage. it was only 1.4V when the switch was fully wide open, my door controls light up interior lights as well but my heat/ac and gauge controls do not.
im going to replace that after i cap that wire with a great cap and then wrap it in gorilla tape
