Thanks for your interest George. It's a full sized 94 K5 Blazer. I'm thinking about pulling the switches to see if they have 12v tomorrow. It has to be something super simple.

I see now that this thread got moved TO the full size blazer forum. Sorry, I don't have any wiring diagrams for these trucks.

OH,, I'm loving that diagram. Just what I needed. Now more confused than ever that the door switches don't work.

I'm going to pull them and see if they're defective.

Sounds impossible, but I've bought two new dimmer switches in a row that were bad.

Thank you Tom!!

Thanks Tom, now we are in business.

Is this truck with or without auxiliary lighting?

No auxiliary lighting. (I think)

Two dome lights (above rear seat, another over cargo area)
Two push lights in the overhead console.
One light under the dash on each side.
Looking at Tom's diagram, I don't see how it could be anything other than the jamb switches being defective. Those two switches and the dimmer switch can all close the circuit for the lights and since the dash dimmer works fine, all that's left is the two new switches.

Note that all of these circuits are ground side switched. Power is applied to each bulb full time and a given switch provides the ground path. It doesn't matter where you start to find your problem but since it sounds like your going to pull the jamb switches, provide a good ground to each jamb switch contact one at a time and see if your lights come on. Report back.
