E Brake light stays on
IIRC, check your actual brake fluid level. Some models have a sensor in the brake fluid reservoir that will turn the light on the dash on, to let you know you are low on brake fluid.
If that is not it....check your wiring on the E-Brake switch...is your e-brake hand or foot operated? If it is foot operated take your foot and put under and kinda pull up on the e-brake pedal as you pull the release lever...it might not be coming up all the way.

This happened to me once. The light will automatically turn on when the brake fluid is low.
I have also heard it will turn on if there is another issue with your brakes.
With mine as soon as the fluid issue was fixed the light went off. Hope this helps!!!
