Default electrical headache

my 2000 blazer started having some odd electrical problems recently . Now my fuel gauge , gear indicator , temp gauge and odometer does not work. Some ofmy tech. buddies said i needed to replace the instrument cluster but this did not solve the problem . I need some help .

Run through all of the outputs from the ignition switch using the diagrams posted in the link at the bottom of my signature. You can access the connector that has all of these wires by dropping the trim cover immediately under the steering column.
