Angry Factory alarm keeps going off!!!

A little back story, when i purchased the blazer it had been in a front end collision, i replaced the radiator and did some work on the front end and it has been running great ever since.

However the front driver door has always had a bit of a sag down and leaked water in the rain/car wash. i was finally about to jack the door up and place a screw on either side of the hinge to get it to sit up properly. i also put a spacer on the latch itself because the metal behind it had been smashed a little and wouldn't let the door close all the way.

since i did that the door closes perfectly flush. the only problem now is that the door is just a little to high i think because it keeps setting the alarm off randomly at all hours of the day and night. i think that it is just not registering that the door is closed.

is there any way to by pass just the drivers door on the alarm. the only thing that i could think to do was disconnect the horns which is what i did, just to prevent it from going off in the middle of the night until i can figure out the problem.

disconnecting the horn is a good idea but when it goes off at night it could drain your battery
