Flasher/blinker/instrument dash lights not working Blazer 2002 4.3L
Blinkers only occasionally flash on/off, but mostly just stay on and don't flash so I have to flick switch on and off so other drivers know what I'm doing...the emergency flasher switch does the same but only "works" when switch held down, is this switch a momentary or alternate switch action?
Also, when parking/headlights are turned on, the dash instrument lights don't work, so can't see whats happening on the dash like speedo, etc. When headlights are on, the radio clock time goes out together with temperature indicator on roof...I would have thought they'd just dim.
When blinkers do flash, the relay clicking seems to come from either behind or in the instrument panel. I haven't been able to find the relay location as yet...have checked behind glove box
To add to this, the air bag lamp mostly stays on when driving, but on rare occasions it goes off....not sure if its all related?
All fuses seem to be ok. Had thought that maybe most of the problem was a "bad" ground connection, but not sure where to look.
Note: the vehicle is a RHS drive in Australia
I would greatly appreciate any advice...thanks
