Default Flashing headlights?

Is it just my blazer, or can you not flash your headlights? I've tested it before with my sister and nothing happens when I try to flash my headlights (lights turned off.)

Is something just broken?

If it has DRL's you should be able to.. if not, oh well. I've never seen a vehicle without DRL's have the ability to flash when they are off.

I have DRL's & 1 1/2 pull back on the turn signal & my high beams flash. Not sure about during the day but I think they do.

No, it just turns high beams on.

No idea what a DRL is.

Are you talking about Flash to Pass?

GM started doing that on the newer models. Our '95 Suburban doesn't have that either.

Basically the High Beams turn on before you pull the lever all the way back to switch them on.

when you're daytime runners are on you should be able to hit the high beam switch and the will stay on only for as long as you have the switch held back
