Default front turn signal bulb

Have a 1996 Blazer and need to r&r the frt amber turn signal bulb. From under hood, I see where there are rounded cut outs revealing 2 torx screws. Is this how I get at these side turn signal bulbs? Does the whole head light come out after removing these 2 screws? I WANT to avoid playing with any alignment screw adjusters. Thanks in advance any advice. I don't know what I would do without this Forum! Thanks

you have to pull the light out to get to the bulb, there's no room to get in there and replace the bulb with it still mounted up

if it's the composite headlight assemblies you have (which I'm assuming it is considering your description of the torx screws), DON'T MESS WITH THOSE TORX SCREWS! those are your headlight aim adjustment screws.

you should see two studs with hex heads sticking out from the metal radiator support, I think it's a 5mm that fits them. remove those two studs (it's basically a long screw) and the headlight will fall out. these screws hold the headlight to the bracket behind it. removing and reinstalling it will not mess up the aim. once the light is dropped out, it's cake walk to replace the bulb
