Fuel Gauge Problem I've Never Seen Or Heard Of Before.
I have a 2001 Chevy ZR2 Blazer that I'm having issues with. I replaced the blower motor today and after I got back in it to start it up the fuel gauge needle is the opposite way. It's at about 5 o'clock if the gauge was a complete circle. I don't know how this can even happen seeing the it worked fine prior to me replacing the blower motor. I did unhook the battery during the process because I dropped a swivel by the battery and I had to remove it to retrieve it. Any suggestions would be helpful!!! Thank you very much!

I'm wondering if you might have bent a pin in one of the electronic connectors in the process. First thing you should go is go to your local Auto Zone, have them run the diagnostic scanner, and see if any codes comes up. Maybe that'll tell you something. I believe the schematics are similar enough to the 2002 that the wiring diagrams in my 1997's repair manual should still be relevant... let me take a look and see what other suspect areas show up.
