Default fuel pump woes

97 blazer 4 door 4.3w. can anyone tell me exactly where the fuel pump harness grounds to. fp problems i think possible bad ground. thanks

I could tell you on the 2 door but that doesn't help you at all. Sorry.

It grounds to the rear frame on my 94. Pretty easy to check that out.

the only grond i found was the filler neck to body.

On the 2 door, the ground is at the same place that the anti-static/ground strap grounds to. Look around in the immediate area for a loose black wire that should have a round connector, that'll be your ground.

thanks for the help! it was right above the spare tire.

They changed the wire harness on the fuel pump. When you buy a new one it comes with a new style connector that you have to wire into the old haeness. That is why mine went out.
