No, the tach will be off with a V8 as it's calibrated for a V6.

Since your truck is stock, it has a cable driven speedo which will not work with the digital dash. You will also have to add a lot to make it work.

What is considered alot to add to it? And it wouldnt be compatable with a V8? I was going to put a 350 in it, but Ive decided to put a 5.3l in it. Better mpg and more horsies
