gauges not working

Default gauges not working

Soo heres my dilema my gauges come on every now and then on my 01 blazer start it up all the gauges and lights work but after running for alil bit they all turn off i changed the ignition switch and it didnt seem to help at all i let it sit for awhile and it goes back to normal im at a loss

You could check the ground, I believe there is a ground strap for the gauges under the drivers side dash above the e-brake pedal. I know there is one on first gens, not 100% on second gens, worth a look.

ok will give that a try id post a video of what its doing but im new to the forum it does have an aftermarket alarm system idk if thats whats doing it to it either

I was having a similar problem, mine was a wire that rusted off under the fuse panel in the engine compartment. Took a while to find it. So I'm happy to share.

Thanks grayman63 now all my gauges dont work jus the "CEL" and it wont start at all checked all grounds cleaned them all up and still no start if i have the key in the run position and manually squeeze the starter relay it starts up but i will check the wires under the fuse block in the engine compartment hopefully ill fimd something there was gonna post a new thread but decided not too hopefully people are chimming in and give there two cents on this....
