Default Head display temperature wrong

Hi

My head display temperature is showed much too high. For example today was cloudy cold day and temperature was shown above 100F. I changed outside air temperature sensor but temperature still is to high. Where the problem is located? Any ideas?

The sensor should be under the hood latch on the grille. Mine always reads a few degrees off but not THAT much.
Check the wiring to it etc. There have been posts about them in here so maybe a search will help.

Follow the wires. If there's only 1 then it uses the metal hood catch frame as a ground. Scuff it up & see if that helps.

I have same problem it always says it's like 46 when it's really like 80 or when it's 50 it says warning ice and 32. Never made sense to me. What does the sensor look like? I'm sure it's fine so what's the deal with these things.

As far as I remember (being inside, 12:30 AM) it's a little black 'nipple' looking thing mounted where I said earlier.
Might be grey or whatever... it'll be the only thing mounted to the hood latch column behind the grille with 2 wires.
Look under the catch for the hood & behind.

Hi. I have checked wires and I have good ground connection. Voltage is little bit more than 5V on sensor connection. So my conclusion is that overhead console (OHC) is wrong. Now I will try to check resistors and electrolytic capacitors on OHC PCB.
