i just installed a over head console in my 1996 blazer and now all i get on the display is oc 5 does that mean anything or did i hook it up wrong (its the basic model with compass and temp)

 

oc 5... never got that on mine.

did you install the temp sensor on the front and run the wire for it? did you grab the harness from the truck you pulled the overhead for?

and if your compass isn't 'calibrated' you need to drive in circles(I'm not kidding lol) nor sure how many times, it was 3-5 or something I believe


might mean out of calibration?

go to an empty field or parking lot or a round about and drive in circles


edit: cal means it needs to be calibrated, oc is a problem with the temp sensor. ssuming you didn't add it. Kyle gives the info here
