Exclamation headlight issues

Several nights a week I have to do a minimal amount of driving on some very dark roads. With my factory headlights it was difficult to see the road and curb, heaven forbid it's raining and dark . I thought there was a light out as I could barely see the road ahead. The lights were very clean/clear so that was not a factor. I decided to change the lights and went for HID. Well...there is no difference. All that money spent for nothing??!!? I can see right in front of the vehicle on the road, not ahead or to the side. What the heck???

Just my luck... It was dark with heavy rain and strong winds on the way to work this morning. Ugh

Is the alternator functioning properly? I'd get that checked out since the new lights didn't make an improvement. Dim lights are one sign that something isn't working right.

Everything seems to be working fine. Had them adjusted and it's better but I think it could still be better than what it is. Idk, maybe it's me...I doubt it.

Well if you really want to see, get a pair of driving lights. Those will help a ton.

Edit: Ok, maybe $20 walmart specials won't do a lot, but some decent ones will.
