Default Headlights, now and then

Hi all, new to this forum. I recently aquired a 2001 Blazer and really like it. Recently the headlights have become tempemental. They will some times just go off when you hit a bump driving down the road. The other day they would not come on and one of my kids bounced the front of the car up and down and they came on. When this happens, all the other running light are on just fine, only the head lights don't work. The DLR light aren't working either.....The headlight relay seems to be good, it was warm when I took it out and plugged in one from the starter and made no diff. I am trying not to "REALLY" get into this and tear up the nice wiring harness....yet. What about the DLR module? Has this happened to any of you guys?

I have the same vehicle except it is the GMC version and I am having the same problem. Sometimes the lights come on and sometimes they do not. If it is dark out and my lights do not come on, I use the fog lights, they always come on when I turn them on. Eventually I will hit the right bump and the lights will come on. Looks like a loose connection or a bad ground somewhere but I have not found the issue yet.
