Default Help identifying wires.

There's a wire loom that runs down the back of the firewall on the drivers side of the engine, comes out the bottom, and passes between the trans and torsion bar, running right near the 02 sensor, and the shift linkage. Anyone know what these wires run? I think a few of them may run back to the tank for the pressure sensor, but not sure. The wiring caught on fire on my 00 Jimmy yesterday and was burning from there, up to the fuel lines running into the plenum. The return line has been leaking down that loom for awhile. Not sure if the fuel ignited, if the wires got too close to the exhaust, or there was a short. I'm hoping the wires are not engine or trans control related, and I can just cut them out and be able to drive it home, as it's stuck 25 miles away right now. Doubtful that's the case, but figured I'd ask if anyone knows.
