hey guys im new to the site. im having trouble installing a deck i have...heres my problem...

after installing my aftermarket deck, certain gauges grounded out to zero (gas gauge went to empty, ABS light came on...etc) and went back to normal after i unplugged the deck.....my other question is why do i have 2 blk ground wires coming out of my wiring harness....thanks guys i really appretiate the help!

ps i drive a 2003 zr2 2 door blazer.

 

I would say, check the wiring, make sure nothing is chaffed and make sure nothing is touching any metal. Did you buy the wire harness to plug the stock plug into the stereo's wire harness? (please tell me you didn't cut the stock harness)?
