HID Lights connections

HID Lights connections
Just installed the low beam HID lights in my 99 blazer that I purchased from HIDextra. In order to get them to turn on, I have to first flash my high beams on and off. Is this normal or did I do somthing wrong here?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I'd say something is wrong. It might not be you though. How good are you with a multimeter? Do you have some back probe tips? If you have a multimeter and some back probe tips, you can see if it is something wrong with the original wiring or with the ballasts themselves. I would bet that the problem is likely with the ballasts.
Did you hook them up direct or did you use a relay kit? Are both sides doing the same thing?

I would go ahead and call HIDextra if you purchased the kit from them... From the looks of it they run one hellla of business and will fix your problem...

I don't have a multimeter and to be honest would not know how to use it properly.
Have to flash the high beams to get both HID low beams to come on. As the HID's turn on they flicker a very little bit - is the normal?
