Default HID's, confused.

I want to get HID's for the blazer.

Question 1: Should I get low beam or high HID's? I want to be able to light up the night. I can't get both.

Question 2: I am looking on HID extra, and I don't see any HID's for a blazer, but I do for a trailblazer. Would I use this? If so, would you mind linking me to the HID's I could get for my 99 blazer ls 4x4?

Question 3: Must I get projectors? If so where, I need ones that are cheap, I can't afford HIDs AND Halo projectors etc.

Question 4: What exactly would I need to get so I can install the HID's successfully?

Thanks guys.

Hids take a little while to warm up, so using them in the high beams will leave you in the dark for about 10 seconds (depending on the manufacturer) unless you do the high 4 mod.

Question 2: I am looking on HID extra, and I don't see any HID's for a blazer, but I do for a trailblazer. Would I use this? If so, would you mind linking me to the HID's I could get for my 99 blazer ls 4x4?

You will need a
9005 (high beams) or 9006 (low beams) depending on if you want the highs or lows.

Ideally projectors are the safest way to have hids. If you put them in a regular headlight housing you will blind other drivers, not to mention the beam pattern may actually waste the extra light your hids put out.

If you want to do the hids in the low beams, get projectors. If you want the highs, you can use whatever you want because you will only use them when nobody else will be around when you fire them up.

Thanks guys.
Hope that helps.

Edit: Haha you snuck that edit in there on me.

You should get a relay harness so you don't overwhelm your stock headlight wiring and start a fire.

Ok Thogert, I will be sticking with the low.

But the "Trailblazer" HIDs that are offered on hidextra.com, are those the ones I should buy?

Also, what kind of projectors should I get. Are there any relatively cheap ones?

Thanks again buddy

Edit: http://www.hidextra.com/Chevy-HID-Kits

Those are all the chevy made HID's

No the canceller is for vehicles with bulb out indicators. Our blazers don't have that option, so we don't need them.
