This is for the auto headlights not DRL Lights as for The DRL theres a relay for them Just unplug Relay to disable Daytime running light and to get back on point the auto headlight light sensor is in P Side dash speaker grill you will need a 1/8 watt 470ohms Resistor for this some has said 1/4watt 1k resistor but I tried the 1/8w 470ohms resistor and it works fine just remove the two screws holding speaker grill in place lift it up and you will see the two wire connector plugged into the sensor now unplug sensor now most Resistors have leads on each end that's long enough to reach all the way through connector take resistor ends and stick each end through each connector pin from the end that contacts sensor now push resistor in far enough to come out other end and bend over the ends to prevent resistor from coming out in future do not tape the resistor they get hot when in use now your done just position wire some where and tape it to prevent it moving and replace speaker grill sensor will not be plugged back up
I tell this Info Cause I cant stand auto lights coming on at night before iv even got vehicle started so I found this fix all other headlight function work normal with both Auto & DRL Disabled

For god's sake, next time you post a how-to, use punctuation, at least throw a comma in there every once in a while lol.
This is pretty common practice on these and is pretty well known
I still need to do it in my 04, the auto lights drive me nuts... if I want my lights on, I will turn the damn things on myself lol
