Default HUGE electrical issue.. mind blown at this point

Ok so here's the story.. yesterday my buddies and I took the whole day switching out my headlights and grill to the capsule halogens off a 96. Got that done and decided to wire up my off road lights too. Two of those are wired to the low beams as driving lights, and the rest are on my rack up top. The rack lights are wired directly to the battery, wired in series with a switch. The driving lights are wired parallel with my low beams. During the whole process the battery drained pretty good and we had to pop a charger on it then jump start it. Now for reasons unknown when I have my key in the OFF position the started cranks itself over but the truck does not start. I am baffled because I have never heard of this before. I can start it normally, but I have to turn the key to ACCESSORY for the starter not to engage. I turned all accessories off and I unplugged my amp wire so as not to drain the battery too much over night. Does anyone have an inkling of an idea why it wants to start when the key if OFF? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks much.
