Yep, then you'll definitely want to do it. In the article, they went with 4AWG, I know some people prefer 0AWG (which seems a bit excessive to me). I went with 2AWG to do mine with (I haven't done mine yet, but I haven't added on any electronics yet, either), just because it's what's used on the trucks and equipment I work on.

This, I went with 4awg as well. but like you said, eventually will want to upgrade the alt.
