I've ran out of ideas of what the issue could be, have check every fuse,every wire from the fuse box etc. Anyway the instrument cluster on my 98 Blazer was junk the digital odom/trip meter wouldn't light up for anything also gas needle won't move, today I went and picked one up from a salvage yard for $50 and now the odom/trip meter will work but only one click over with the key. If you turn it anymore or crank it it goes out? Idk what can be causing this. Oh the gas gauge still isn't working. Maybe bad ignition switch??? ECM?? I'm clueless...trip/odom function like they should

that sir would be your ignition switch going out. 97-98 seems to have this issue.

 

That's what I was figuring. Their a bitch also to replace right? What's all involved never had to replace one

Well put a new ignition switch in and didn't change anything still having this problem...any other ideas
