Default license plate lights

hey all,

so another random issue for you, BOTH of my rear license plate lights dont come on. i tried changing the bulbs and that didnt fix it. i dont have any other light issues, but what fuse would this be under? or what other possible issues could this be?

The fuse is TRL PRK 10a. Don't forget to check the wiring under the truck.

Check the ground wire come from the lights

I eliminated the quick disconnect plug thinking it might have corroded and caused fault connections and tied the grounds and power wires directly. No luck. I then tried grounding the wires directly to the frame and it worked but also keep in mind that you need to make sure the dash sensor is covered to replicate darkness. Also, I cut and capped the two ground wires going to the fuel pump. I'm not sure if those two grounds ran further to provide grounding for those lights.
