Default Lights behind grille?

I may not be posting this in the correct location but I was wondering if this has been attempted and if so my little knowlege of the search feature I could not find any threads to such a mod. Anyway I was kinda thinking something like the newer Tacoma's do with a mesh or billet grill. I haven't gone as far as to measure yet but it looks like there will be enough room. Any thoughts or cautions?

the only thing i can think off if you wear to put lights behind your grill is melting wires or the housing on the lights bc of the radiant heat and other hot things behind the grill i have a pa speaker behind my grill and it works fine just watch wear you put your wires

Oh yeah, that's easy.

Depending on the year of your blazer, you can get the grille that goes all the way out like the toyota does.

You wouldn't even really have to remove the stock grille or emblem this way.

As long as the lights don't take up more than I would say 4 inches depth.

my truck is a 2000 blazer not jimmy so I have the cross bar grille would like to have the gmc front lights and grille or just the grille from the jimmy and keep the chevy lights which is what I would really prefer.
