I have been fixing all of the broken things on my 2000 Blazer I bought used back in May, 2010 and am stumped on a light bulb! Does anyone know where to get the bulb that goes in the door panel switch assembly that lights up the switches? It's a bulb in a plastic housing with the name 'alba' on the housing. I've searched high and low for it and Chevy no longer services this bulb. Is it available anywhere? Looks like the bulb is molded into the housing. These little things really get to me! Thanks!

 

Are they soldered in or replaceable? If soldered in, I just bought a bunch from eBay. 15 for $15.

 

Hey thanks! No they are not soldered in. The bulb tails go through 2 holes in the housing and are then bent around the housing. Can't figure out how to get a new one in there or what size to use.
