Default Need hlep with charging issues!!

I have a 98 blazer and i just replaced my alternator with a new one and the belt and tensioner and now i have an issue where my battery lights on, the volt meter is low and not charging the battery. ive tried a new alternator pigtail, ive had the battery tested and the alternator tested and everything came back god and with the new pigtail everything worked for about 10mins at idle then i went to install new wire loom and all a sudden the battery light pops back on and the volt meter drops back down... im not sure what the deal is or where to go from here, so any help would be appreciated at the point as this is a daily driver for my girlfriend and im racking up the miles on my camaro now driving us both to and from work..

I'd check for loose ground connections to & from the engine to the body.
Make sure all your connections are clean & tight.

Kinda hard not to if you want everything to run. With mine it's even more confusing with the supercharger being driven. But IF it's possible I can see his point by the alternator running bassackwards.

So the new alternator that you had tested turned out to be bad? What's the story behind that?
