New Battery question
Ok , im looking to get a new battery for my 2000 jimmy, it calls for a series 75, and i can find it with 500-700 CCA (cold cranking amps), but in the older Blazer/Jimmy's the series 78 battery is called for and i have seen those with 800+ CCA, so can a series 78 battery fit in a 2000 jimmy...
I know the physical wire connections will work, side mount, but will it fit size wise. I can go with a Optima Red Yellow or Blue, but the price is,well out of my price range, and i can get the series 78 Excide battery from Costco/BJ's for under $100 bucks, see where im going with this???

x2 on this but if no one says I would go to Costco, and ask if you can return it if it does not fit in the space. Then check it in the parking lot. I would guesstimate there would be room for a battery to be 1/2in more depth(front to back of truck) then 1-1 1/2in wider, and maybe 1 taller.
