new keys & confused

Default new keys & confused
Anybody know if ya buy one the new ignition locks with keys from rock auto do the keys need to be programmed by the dealer or can I just install the new lock and do a passlock relearn.

2005 jimmy

I think you can just do a passlock relearn. But not 100%, But either way, Any of what you need to do, can be found with a google search if it does end up being a reprogram on the keys.
